What is a Postpartum Doula?
A postpartum doula cares for the mother and family in the "fourth trimester". She is a quiet, comforting, and non-judgemental presence in the home. She is there to help the parents feel confident, capable, and supported.
Caring for a new baby is hard work! Every family should have an extra pair of experienced hands as they are adjusting to their new precious addition.
As your postpartum doula it is my goal to help you make the transition into your new life with your baby as seamlessly as possible. For more information on postpartum doulas, see this link: http://www.dona.org/mothers/faqs_postpartum.php
